Furd
The good news for you is, next year you won't be seeing much of him in another uniform at all. Maybe this one?

Chavez
Ward is currently announcing his retirement from the NFL. Next stop for Hines is the Hall of the Very Good. Oh, there isn't one of those? Bummer.
Furd
If you live in the Pittsburgh area and you rebuff Ward's efforts to sell a used car to you, for godssakes don't turn your back to him.

I could see him working in one of those noodle soup places.
bpwallace49
I watched the press conference. It is refreshing to see a guy who is so loyal to his team play his whole career and then rather retire than hang on for a year or two in another uniform. hats offf to you Hines . . . . Did he have a choice? Didn't he state earlier that he would continue his career elsewhere and that he felt that he had a few good years left? He said in the press conference that he had other options but would rather retire a steeler instead after talking it over with Jerome bettis

matt770
If he's managed his money and can retire comfortably, then good for him. He'd be in the minority of NFL players. Seems like most of 'em hang on until the bitter end, wringing every last drop of money and glory out of their careers, then they're broke and divorced within 5 years of retirement.
