Capt. Stanky
Truthfully, I don't know that it's that far off. If team B needs WR's I'd say it looks pretty close. Regardless of what you think or Romo as an NFL QB, he puts up FF points.
CowboysDiehard
Without any further details to consider, looks fine to me.
delusions of grandeur
I can't even determine which side you think is getting the better end, after the Packer's O-line getting Rodgers sacked 8 times in the first half the other night. I could easily see team B thinking that they wouldn't lose much if anything going down to Romo, while gaining WR help. Them being brothers isn't really relevant, and to me more reason to think it's legit. I know I'd never lay down so my brother could win. Beating him is one of my goals. Sibling rivalry and all... flemingd
I'm trying to figure out who you think is giving a collude to whom.
CowboysDiehard
Oh yeah...'Never veto trades', let the men manage the teams they paid for as they see fit...blah blah blah... (am i doing it right?)
stevegrab
4 - 0 Request to find collusion DENIED! cowboys diehard, that's pretty much it. I was going to post "prove it" Agree with others, not very lopsided and could be good for both teams (might help if we knew more). The whole "they are related" thing is what gets these "they're cheating" thoughts started. Edited September 26, 2012 by stevegrab
gbpackers
Im kinda surprised everyone thinks its a fair trade. Maybe Im overreacting. Romo has been average at best so far. (Ranked #22 among QBs in our league) Mike Williams sucks and will ride Team Bs bench. That leaves DeSean Jackson, who may or may not be even playable most weeks. Post both teams rosters then if you want us to look deeper. It is entirely possible for a trade to not look great at the surface, but make sense and improve both teams. And you didn't mention that Romo has still put up better stats than Rodgers.
Phazool
fair trade? I thought this thread was about collusion. Move along....nothing to see here.

Rodgers has been average at best as well. Basing it on performance thus far, every player in this trade is not playing up to par. So what's your point? Nothing wrong with the trade. Big Country
In my leagues, Rodgers isn't doing any better than Romo (in fact, in four of my five leagues (all BOTH leagues on MFL, various scoring systems, Rodgers is actually scoring less than Romo)
gbpackers
Am I the only one here that doesnt think Rodgers will become what he was last year? He was a fantasy god last year.

We'll have to take your last statement with a grain of salt given your user name. And regarding the first part, this ain't last year (and you may want to double check your grammar, as yes, I agree it is unlikely that Rodgers performs at last year's level, as I said all preseason). What he did last year has absolutely no bearing on what he may/may not do this year. In most of my leagues, Romo was also a top 8 QB last year. Furd
I love these threads. Somebody throws out a trade. Then we have all kinds of comments about: collusion, fairness, lopsidedness, extreme lopsidedness, explicability, inexplicability, manage your own team, find a new league, get your money back, no way that I'd play in that league, let's look at how many points each player has scored, let's look at the rosters, you never know how its going to turn out (with examples), and so on. No definitions. No standards. No one is even talking about the same thing. Its message board gumflapping at its finest.
