darin3
Got tackled by his junk on his TD catch/run. Why does this feel so familiar? NTTAWWT Also, crap. I thought S-Jax could have had a shot at top-5 RB numbers eventually but not at this rate.
Team Archer
We all did. At least those who drafted him. I was like SJax in ATL = 14 points per game standard scoring EASY. I mean how can you focus on Julio, Roddy and SJax? Unless your the Seahawks, I didnt see a lot of other teams containing him especially when he can catch too. Slugs3511
But I mean come on no update on an injury that he did not return to the game? If it is a bruise then he is soft so I would think it is something more severe right?
davesworld23
I think it's a season ender & they are hoping not

dope man
Starting to think it is really bad also since they are not talking.....this is Atlanta, not Belichick....no need to be tight lipped unless it is maybe season ending.....Jeez, this sucks!!! TNtitans
We've gone from bruised thigh to torn quad? Let's take a breather here and wait for some info from the team this week.
NSab
He will most likely miss this' game 3 like last season same deal . It stinks getting old
TNtitans
@RapSheet: More not-so-great news for the #Falcons? RB Steven Jackson (thigh) may miss 2-4 weeks, source says. Officially viewed as week-to-week though
Wolverines Fan
Per rotoworld: A source tells NFL Network that Steven Jackson (thigh) could be out 2-4 weeks. Officially, Jackson is "week to week." But it's not a surprise that the Falcons expect him to be slow to recover from a soft-tissue injury. Jackson is 30 years old and struggled for a month when he pulled his quad in Week 1 of the 2011 season. This pull sounds like it's of the Grade 2 variety. Jacquizz Rodgers will fill in as the starter, but he's proven incapable when given chances before (3.55 YPC, two TDs on 164 career carries). Look for the Falcons to go with an extremely pass-heavy attack and use Jason Snelling in goal-line situations. Quizz is a far better add in PPR formats. Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter Atlanta's bye is Week 6. Unless SJax heals fast, I wonder if they'll hold him out until Week 7. PPIchamp
Out for week 3, probably out for week 4. I just traded for Jackson last week on a team that has to start 3 RB's and already lost L Bell, A Brown and Vereen. This is friggin ridiculous.
