Poor Sorgi...That's 2 weeks in a row he has been nearly killed...

and yet Shaun King can come in and play fine. Sorgi is gonna get cut, unless he ends up on IR after that hit. The guy has no pocket presence and no feel for the blitz. And his arm is garbage.

Rhodes looked good tonight. Addai showed some very good speed to the corner and in the passing game. Not sold on him as an inside runner yet. Colts were having trouble running to the right, did much better to the left.

Madden also (for once) made a really great point that might make all the people hopping on the Joseph Addai bandwagon think twice. The Colts running a no huddle offense all the time doesn't make for a good environment for rookies to ask questions on the field like they might be able to do in a huddle.

I am not saying Addai won't take over at some point, but I think it's much less probable that he will start the season seeing significant time. Maybe those second round Addai picks have been a little ambitious :D

Ya' think? Rhodes is the starter until he gets hurt. And it's only a matter of time . . .

to be clear, the weren't mysecond round picks... :D

:D

You're right though, Addai is probably being severely over-rated at the present. I'm not sure the Colts are going to be able to run the ball very well this year, especially when it matters in the fourth quarter. They really struggled with that the last time Rhodes was the starter in 2001. Addai will probably get a little more work each week as they bring him up to speed.

Okay here we go.

In the preseason players are allowed to wear any number they want, which means Peterson can wear 44 in the preseason.

When the regular season rolls around he must wear a number in the 50s or the 90s.

Maybe with all the players on the team right now before cuts he can't get another number?

Depends on rules of course. 6pts per passing TD would be tempting.

That would be the case.

Completions (.5)

Incomplete Passes (-.5)

Passing Yards (30 yards per point)

Passing Touchdowns (6)

Interceptions (-4)

Sacks (-2)

Rushing Yards (10 yards per point)

Rushing Touchdowns (6)

Reception Yards (10 yards per point)

Reception Touchdowns (6)
