loaf
RIP Neil. I think I remember watching the Moon Landing. Or it could've been a dream. Either way, a true American ICON. Rest In Peace.
Chavez
82 yrs, and if all you could say about him was "oh yeah, first person to walk on the moon" it'd be a pretty notable life.

Hugh B Tool
A true American icon and hero. He literally walked the walk, yet never talked the talk. R.I.P. Mr. Armstrong
The Holy Roller
I farmed in Ohio about 5 miles from his hometown, Wapakonta, Ohio. There is a Neil Armstrong museum built in the shape of the moon visible from the interstate. Gracious, humble, downhome. Courageous, heroic, what America stands for. Thanks Mr. Armstrong. And I remember going outside that night with our neighbors looking at the moon in disbelief that men were actually up there. One neighbor, Mr. Woolsey, never did believe men walked on the moon. Us kids, though, we believed! Edited August 25, 2012 by The Holy Roller
