DMD
Guess he's back to being a pumpkin. Nothing ever ends well in the backfield in Detroit.

michaelredd9
Kerryon has injury concerns. He is smallish, runs upright, and takes big hits. C.J. could be a workhorse if/when Kerryon goes down. It's too bad C.J. isn't a better receiver. I'll still be willing to use a 14th round pick on him.

CJ is a great handcuff next year to hold on to.

Blount had averaged 6.75 receptions per year. Blount was given plenty of opportunity last year. He just sucked. Anderson looked really good last year (and the years previously). I see enough similarities in the two to surmise that Anderson could put up some pretty pedestrian numbers unless Johnson gets hurt early in the season. CJ might get 8-12 carries and 1 reception per game while Kerryon is healthy. That has little value. But if Kerryon goes down, which is not unlikely, CJ could become a 20 carry a game guy. Lions running game hasn't been worth much in a while. I would like to have Kerryon though, but not any of the backups. But their passing game including Stafford is pretty good. I'm just not sure they'll ever commit to the run.
