purplemonster
Why? I don't get it. Unless they are trying to be "fair" or adhere to some rules they have but this guy has exhausted all of his chances IMO

stevegrab
Somebody will probably give him a chance, we'll have to see if he's changed or not. His agent says he is trying to change his ways, to play according to the NFL rules.

It wasn't good for business to keep him around.

If it continues to happen they could open the league up to a federal antitrust suit by the NFLPA on behalf of the players,

Why would they slice their own throat? Revenue goes down so do salaries.

How does revenue go down, by them suing the league. And since when did the current NFL players, care about what the future NFL players get. They may think they would get their cake and eat it to. As the owners will not fold the league.
