giantsfan
All the credit in the world to Brunell and Moss but man what is the Dallas D doing. The only real thing is don't get beat long and they do twice in a row.
Gunther
fliping aye. I have a headache. I don't know why Dallas was using T. Thompson in the red zone for Dallas' last drive...but Dallas seemed to feel comfortable with just a FG.

Jimmy Neutron
What do you dumb-asses think of old man Brunell now? I don't really have a dog in this fight, I just hate to see all of the unjustified criticism. Did I mention,
giantsfan
. . . and Roy Williams sucks in coverage. . . 1004213 He certainly is a strong hitting get sacks kind of S that's for sure. Coverage ain't his thing.
Roo
I wasn't bashing, but two prayer bombs to S. Moss doesn't take away from the ugliness of the WAS offense. I mean, they cannot move the ball.....but I give credit to Santana for going balls out.

The team has rushed for almost 100 yards. Not terrible numbers condidering the Dallas D is better than average.

giantsfan
This is very knit picky by me but I would have ran a sweep or pitch to the outside there, but that's me.
giantsfan
From a Giants POV tonight was perfect though. Dall is better than Wash so I rather have Wash win and be 2-0 with the Giants than Dallas.
Big Score 1
What crappy play calling by Gibbs when he has the chance to salt the game away. I know, lets run Portis right into the middle of the Dallas D.
giantsfan
Bottom line is great win by Wash. I still KNOW their O sucks and they aren't a good team but a win is a win and they are 2-0 period. T-Man
Please, someone tell Gibbs that I took Portis as my number 1 RB At least I do have Randy Moss...
Clubfoothead
Cowboys at least have 3 points and could've had more. 1004070 For this offense, that loses games. 1004082 Pretty prophetic given I said that at halftime. This loss was on the offense not defense. The Tuna was happy playing for a 13-0 lead. A missed FG on the first drive; the inability to turn Newman's interception into anything other than a FG; not even bothering to try a 53 yard FG going into the half; Larry Allen holding in the 4th quarter then putting Thompson in for Jones when we are (were) in the red zone and settling for the FG, again; then Flozell costing us the game with that holding penalty after Keyshawn gained 19 for the first down - there would have been 3 minutes left, 1st and 10 for the Cowboys on like the Redskins 35, we should have been able to get a FG out of that and went up 16-7. Two blown coverages shouldn't doom a team that played thatgreat of defense all night.
