SpinalTapp
I was up against the #1 team in the league and tied him at 107-107. Our league stipulates that in the event of a tie - the team that has the individual player with the highest individual point total wins the matchup. Well Vick put up 28 vs Manning's 24 - I go home. This sucks. How do you all handle this situation?
Avernus
whoever had more points on the bench..
Purdue Pete
We use the "football" score of your starters. Basically we revert back to a TD only scoring.
thinkaboutit27
exactly, what kind of lame ass rule is it that the highest points a player scores determines who wins? Most leagues I've been in has been bench players.
Footballjoe
I'm hoping are league has something in place in case of a tie, I will have to look into it. It doesn't matter really what system you use as long as its in place before the playoffs AND ITS VOTED ON AND APPROVED.
slickvick
You need to go to total bench points to decide tiebreakers.
HandsToTheFace
You need to go to total bench points to decide tiebreakers. 1212476[/snapback] I don't really like this system much. It penalizes the guy who drafted his starters backups. I much prefer reverting to a TD only scoring. But the most important thing, with any rule, is that it's in place and approved before the season starts.
Big John
Use decimal scoring Higher seed wins Have deginated bench player(s) Most TDs scored Bench points Most points by the starting QB (or other deginated position)
