bushwacked
My sportsbook has the Steelers favored by 2 with the $$ going their way.
Goopster24
Yeah, same here. That's crazy. I guess people still don't have any faith in Cincy. Giants -3 against the Panthers Patriots -7 1/2 against the Jaguars Thoughts?
bushwacked
Lean toward the Giants (barely) and wouldn't want to touch the Pats/Jags. Taking the Bengals at home with points, sounds really enticing though!
Vet
All those lines sound just about right. Playoff games are harder than regular season games to call with the spread - at least I find them harder. I'll probably look at some over/unders, but it's hard to find any inefficiencies to exploit in those initial lines.

Haven't seen the Bengals play in a couple weeks, obviously the bookies think they are horrible.

This game is going to be a complete dogfight. Very tough game to call. I said 3 weeks ago that I thought the Steelers would go into Cincy in Round 1 and win, and I still think they will. However, I certainly wouldn't be shocked if Cincy wins either. I don't see anyone beating Indy this year though.
darin3
My book has: Bucs -2.5 -- I like that one. That place is gonna be ROCKIN', and the Skins? Um, they had to STRUGGLE to beat a depleted Eagle team. Pats -8 -- I like the Jags here. Not to win, but to at least keep things within a TD. Yeah, even in Foxboro. G-men -3 -- This is an interesting one. I like the Giants. Playing well right now, and the Panthers have been all over the place. Bengals +3 -- Getting 3 at home? Wow. Logic would tell you to take just about ANY home dog, but the Steelers are playing well right now. Hard to bet against them. I'd go with the Steelers, but it might be real, realllll close to those 3 points.
Sox
Yawn. The oddsmakers don't establish lines to show who they think will win. They establish them to where they think the uniformed public will bet both sides evenly.
