Men In Tights
I like the Pimps club, Warner could be huge and if CPep comes back like the CPep of old that could be a lethal squad.
Whiskey Pimp
I like the Pimps club, Warner could be huge and if CPep comes back like the CPep of old that could be a lethal squad. Thanks MIT. I really like the combo of Tiki and Jordan in this 1 ppt league too. If this was a real league I probably would've grabbed a 3rd QB just in case my 2 aren't healthy. And great job on the breakdown Keg. Edited June 15, 2006 by Whiskey Pimp
keggerz
I like the Pimps club, Warner could be huge and if CPep comes back like the CPep of old that could be a lethal squad. I agree but with CPEPs uncertaintity I would have liked a bit less Fragile BackUp(but I do like Warner this yr) Also not really sold on JJ but if he falters and Clayton(nice upside) can regain his form then he wont have much problem running 4 WRs I love the upside of Vernon Davis but not sure he reaches that potential this yr...Miller is a nice insurance policy but with the Big Ben ?s now I would feel a bit worried about the TE... all in all a damn nice team for sure
XXXXX
TRRHYNE is my favorite team coming out of this mock, when you have such solid RB depth (LT/Westbrook/Parker) you put yourself in a great situation to win. Now add on the fact that he landed Randy Moss and Gonzo and he is one of the top teams coming out of this mock.

smithkt
I really have to slow down and read the requirements a little more carefully. I missed the fact that we could flex a RB to start three. Oh well. I still drafted what I think is a competitive team from the #9 slot. The other critical mistake was drafting two QBs with the same bye week. The chart I had was wrong. johnsonk2
The 4 (huddled masses) 5(wizards) slot seemed to be the sweet spot..IMO! Both very solid at each position, with depth as well. Would give the early edge to the Wizards.
keggerz
Here I will add what I think about each team....with the exception of my own team(someone else can take a stab at that if they want) Probable Starters: SKY:1 EManning, Alexander, MAnderson, Chambers, Housh, SMoss, Northcutt, Cooley, Vin, Wash Not sure what happened to sky but RB2 is gonna be a sore spot and his WR depth isnt the best to compensate...sorry pal CHARGERZ:2 Hasslebeck, LJ, Dillon, Bell, Boldin, Branch, Kennison, Gates, Rackers, Tampa I think this team is also gonna struggle with RBs beyond LJ...dillon has Maroney to worry about as well as staying healthy and Bell has great upside but DAYNE is the starter as of now, Boldin is a nice #1 WR but Branch and Kennison dont offer much upside just steady vet production, Gates is a difference maker(I worry about Rivers hurting his early season #s)....I dont think this team has enough fire power to be an elite team TRRHYNE:3 Bledsoe, LT, Westbrook, Parker, RMoss, RoyWilliams, Stallworth,Gonzo,Brown,Jax Bledsoe makes for a nice QB but I think Delhomme ends up with better stats(you sniped me on him too ) whats not to love about LT(other then December ), Westbrook is coming off a Lisfranc(sp?) but should be huge in this format as long as he stays healthy...parker makes a nice #3 but he wont see many TDs, I expect Randy to bounce back and Roy has top 10 talent with Martz on board...I think Gonzo continues to slide in production and wont warant his draft slot but he will be solid...this team should be one of the better teams....LTs late season swoons and Westys health could be an obstacle HUDDLED MASSES:4 Palmer, Portis, JLew, TJones, Fitz, Harrison, Galloway, McMichael, Wilkins, Pitt As much as I liked Palmer last yr this yr you have to be concerned with his health and to top it off the backup just crashed his MC and is an unknown so this team could be behind the 8ball right off the bat...Portis & Jamal will make a nice 1-2 punch at RB and you will have to hope TJ can hold off Benson...Fitz and Harrison are a very nice wr Combo...i think Galloway regresses this yr but will still be a viable #3 and Clayton has nice upside...McMichaels is a very nice TE and Pitt is an upper echelon Def...this team could be a contender IF the QB position allows it WIZARDS:5 PManning, Edge, DDavis, Walker, Porter, Moulds, Wilford, Shockey, Feeley, CHI Peyton, Edge and DDavis make for a nice start...but Walker coming off an ACL injury as WR1 is a bit risky....after that the depth at WR is nice Porter, Moulds, Wilford make nice 2-4WRs unfortunately I think they have to be 1-3WRs...Curtis and Edwards wont do much...curtis will be nice if bruce goes down and edwards wont have anything to offer til october at the soonest...Gotta love Shockey(top 3 TE0 & CHI(TOP 2 DEF)...If Walker can be a viable #1WR this team is a contender without him it will be good but struggle at times WHISKEY PIMP:6 Warner, Tiki, Jordan, JJones, Wayne, Horn, Mason, VDavis, Kasay, PATS IF Cpep comes back strong watch out(i am not so optimistic about him), but warner is a competent backup(as long as he stays healthy)...Tiki and Jordan are hugh in this format but I am not sold on JJ but he will still be able to contribute....I like WAYNE, HORN, MASON(not much upside but should get exactly what you expect from them, sans Horn being healthy of course), is Vernon gonna be the real deal this yr? if so a big plus if not a hiccup...Kasay is gonna be better then solid but I am not sold on the Pats def..the core of Tiki Jordan Wayne Mason Horn make this team a contender SIR LOINS OF BEEF:7 Brady, Caddy, McGahee, Benson, TO, Ward, RegBrown, LJSmith, Vandy, INDY Brady will be top 3 and Caddy and McGahee have great upside and should be the heart and soul of this team....TO is TO as long as he is a good boy, Ward is Mr. Consistent(?s if Ben is out), Love Reggie Brown as a sleeper this yr but he has to hit as a #3 for this team...LJSmith is a nice TE just look at last yrs stats prior to McNabbs injury....Vandy wont score like he did in Indy but he is still a top Kicker....can the Indy Def repeat last yrs performance? Like Burleson and Watson as depth with upside...this team could make some noise(especially if Willis gets back on track) KEGGERZ:8 Plummer, KJones, CTaylor, Dunn, SSmith, Holt, AJohnson, Witten, Elam, CAR NO COMMENT SMITHKT:9 Bulger, RBrown, Rudi, Rhodes, DJax, Plaxico, Evans, Heap, Akers, BALT Bulger wont be martz good but still a viable starter, Rudi and Brown will be big but there are questions around the indy RB situation but if Dayne plays like ANderson did last yr then this team will be in good shape...Djax and Plax make a nice WR Combo but the QB situation in Buff has to make you a bit concerned about EVANs(but has decent depth with JoeJ and Muhammad but not much upside)....HEAP(McNair will only help...read top 3 for sure could be #1), AKers will be fine and BALT should be a top def again... SIGALF03:10 McNabb, Sjax, Droughns, Gore, CJohnson, Driver, Coles, Crumpler, Graham, CIN McNabb does he or doesnt he bounce back? I think he bounces back to a top 6 QB, beyond SJAX the RBs are sexy but droughns will get it done and Gore well I wouldnt count out Barlow completely....CJ and DRIVER make for a nice WR Combo but coles is a weaker #3(Key and Bruce make nice vet depth but with little upside) with limited upside due to the QB concerns in NY....Crumpler is a very nice TE....this team probably lacks the RB punch that will be needed to make this a top team Edited June 15, 2006 by keggerz

I'm not as concerned as you are on my QB's. Roethlisberger is going to be ready week 1. I think Palmer is going to be ready too with the worst case being he misses the first few weeks. If not, I would simply add Brett Favre or Mark Brunell, etc. to get me by until one of them is ready.
skylive5
This draft seems to be a continuation of a run of bad drafts I have had over the last couple of years. I hate getting the 1st pick. So I asked for it in this mock to see if I could turn the corner and draft a decent team from that position. Alas, the 2/3 turn has once again killed me with my top pre-selects all being taken just before my pick. I had decided that I would do my #1 pick right if I selected top WR's at the 2/3. Unfortunately, there were NO top WR's left. In fact there was NO ONE left. Who would have thought that not one good player would be left by the end of the 2nd round? I do think, despite other opinions, that my first three WR picks are viable picks. In the scoring format used, Moss was the 5th and Chambers was the 8th, leading WR scorers. All above them had been drafted before I had a chance. As far as Northcutt goes.... that was a 10th round pick for a bye week filler. I do not see a full (or even half) season for JJones... so MBarber, a great value pick IMHO, will be my 2nd RB real soon. AGreen will return to form ... trust me. When it comes down to it though... not a very good draft all in all.... just adequate. Unless a couple pick up the pace and/or return to form. Men In Tights
Now add on the fact that he landed Randy Moss and Gonzo and he is one of the top teams coming out of this mock. I disagree on the above. Moss hasn't played a full season for how long and Gonzo is on the way down, way down IMHO. Had this draft taken place 3-4 years ago I would have given him the #1 team as well.
