T-Scorp
Which strategy do you like best for the first year of a keeper league for the early rounds. We can only keep up to 3 players, one per position, for 3 years. 1) Draft normally and follow the RB Whoring usually followed by fantasy owners. 2) Draft best available player at position to try and get best WR/QB knowing you can only keep one RB next year. Does your strategy change if you are in the top 4, middle 4, or bottom 4 picks??? Edited June 15, 2006 by T-Scorp
Savage Beatings
I would suggest the following... D/ST, K, D/ST, K, TE, TE, QB, WR, QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, RB, RB. But that's just me... I like to live dangerously!

Wolv
I'm in the same boat with a first year keeper league. I'd still take LT, SA, LJ or Portis as normal, but I'd consider taking players like Caddy and Ronnie Brown over Tiki. It wouldn't change much, but player age would certainly make me make slight adjustments to drafting strategy Edited June 16, 2006 by Wolv

He's still keeping LT only.

I think I would have to lean towards Caddie/Ronnie personally.
yo mama
This year, as in past years, I'd want to be in the early-middle part of the draft. If I were in the 1 or 2 spot, I'd try to trade down to the 3, 4, or 5 spot. The quality of RB should be great in the 1st round, you get access to either an elite WR, P. Manning, or a very strong #2 RB in the second round, and still be able to tap into low-risk, high-output players in the early 3rd round.
