mitpdub
Notes from Coaches interview that just finished: Nolan quotes: "Frank's okay." "It's my understanding he will," when asked if Frank Gore will play next Sunday. Frank didn't call Nolan last night. He did the previous two games to tell the coach about his fumbles. The Michael Robinson short-yardage situations is something they're "talking about" right now. Nolan stated Maurice Hicks is still the number 2, not Michael Robinson
Big Score 1
Nolan stated Maurice Hicks is still the number 2, not Michael Robinson Uh huh, yeah right Coach. Nolan also took Barlow aside and personally assured him there was absolutely nothing to the news reports regarding talks about trading him to the Jets

piratesownninjas
If Gore doesnt play, Hicks gets the touches between the 20's. Robinson takes over in the redzone.
EKDatDKE
Thanks all, I picked up Barlow in a late August draft. I also picked up Robinson in all my leagues. Gore was very injury prone at the U and you never know, but he has been a nice suprise so far this season picking up for the TD less LJ. mitpdub
More updates, you may want to hold off on Robinson and Hicks Niners RB Gore expected to play, but TE Davis out By GREG BEACHAM, AP Sports Writer September 25, 2006 SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) -- The San Francisco 49ers got good news about running back Frank Gore and confirmed bad news about tight end Vernon Davis on Monday. Gore is expected to be in the 49ers' lineup at Kansas City on Sunday despite bruised ribs that sidelined him in the third quarter of their loss to Philadelphia. Davis, the sixth overall pick in the draft, will be out four weeks with a broken bone in his right leg. The 49ers' two young offensive stars were hurt on the same play last Sunday in their 38-24 loss to the Eagles. Gore, who rushed for 266 yards and three touchdowns in the 49ers' first three games, was hurt while trying to stretch over the goal line in the third quarter. He fumbled in the process, and defensive lineman Mike Patterson returned it 98 yards for a score. The 49ers initially said Gore strained an abdominal muscle, but changed the diagnosis to bruised ribs Monday afternoon. "I'll be on the field," Gore said. "I'm kind of sore, but I'll be all right." TDFFFreak
As an owner depending on Gore I am breathing a bit easier.

Hat Trick
Doesn't matter, I wouldn't start him next week against the revived KC D 0-2 at home
Big Score 1
If Gore doesnt play, Hicks gets the touches between the 20's. Robinson takes over in the redzone. That's not how it played out against Philly when Gore was out. It was all Robinson no matter where they were on the field. But if Gore is out from the get go, you're probably right.
