Gros Membres!
Problem with Mort is he really acts like he knows what he's talking about and confirms them with "Sources." ESPN is really losing my respect this year - between Mort and the MNF booth fiasco. I just hope not too many people took this news for truth andjumped the Warner ship completely. The Cardinals still have some matchups up the road and, if anything, let's hope all of this talk lights a fire under Warner's a$$.

Gros Membres!
Mort=too much makeup. Looks like a woman. Or maybe that's what it is. Under all the makeup he is actually a robot commanded by Paul Tagliabue. (Conspiracy Theory #2 is brewing... )

How true. the mnf booth would have been perfect if the just moved the sunday night crew over. That was the best announce team in all of football. PantherDave
Also, like I said to you last night-wait until ya hear it outta Green's flapper before ya go dumping Warner.
The Irish Doggy
I admit, I had Warner as a possible drop in my head this morning, but I said, nah... let's see how this shakes out.
MrTed46
His predictions are bold and opinionated just like here on thehuddle. I don't blaim him when hes wrong and I will always listen to his reasoning. He's not perfect like DMD but hes worth listening to.

If a team's coaching staff/front office wanted to get misinformation out to the sports world, all they had to do was call Mort & give him a "scoop". The guy is one of the biggest dupes in the business, but unfortunately many FF owners take him seriously. FYI - Adam Schefter played the same position and was used & abused by Shanahan here in Denver for years. Now that he's with ESPN, take any "scoops" (like HOU signing Reggie Bush before the NFL draft) with a very large grain of salt. rattsass
I now officially do not trust Mort any more. I agree, he should spend less time in make-up, and more time actually confirming what he is reporting. The sad part is that he is the one guy I actually trusted from ESPN. So much for that. Bronco Billy
Schefter doesnt work for ESPN, he works for NFL.com and the NFL Network. Opps. My bad, you are correct. Doesn't change his status as a boot-licker who will print anything without verifying, but he is with nfl.com. Thanks for catching my mistake.
