DROCK_IN_CT
I just called as I am extremely excited for these games as I am going for the title. It is only 20$ for the ticket on Directv for this week. Just a FYI ....
Scare Tactics
You probably could have talked them into a free preview for the week, telling them you were thinking about signing up next year..
Egret
It's weeks like this that make me upset with the "extra" games. I'm still paying full price for the Ticket, but there were games Thursday, Saturday, Sunday night, and two games tomorrow that aren't part of the Ticket. Besides the Saints and Giants, I'm not into too much today.
cliaz
NFL Direct Ticket is no longer worth the high price. I put in to have my removed from my account. $250 for a few sunday games isn't worth it. Now we have the NFL network stealing games so there will be less for the Direct ticket to show. No way you all should pay that kind of money to watch a few games that are not broadcasted in your area. NFL.com is a great way to supplement your football needs. Living in GA I dont get any Titans games so the ticket is def worth the price. You still get a lot more than a "few" Sunday games. Ill keep giving Directv my money. Also i believe i read that it's getting bumped up to $275 for next season first timers and $250 for people who already have it. Way over priced. EDIT - can you tell I have an issue with DTV and Sunday Ticket? Long story. The Plot of it is they took out payments for my sunday ticket and kept taking them out even though I had paid it in full. This went on for 6 months. Edited December 24, 2006 by cliaz
Piles
I have to agree that is overpriced as well. I can go to one of the local establishments, have a couple of beers and some eats and watch the ticket for $20. So at most I'm spending $340 a year and I get the ticket, beer and food. And as Cliaz said, with NFL Network hawking games it really isn't worth it IMO.
Vet
I don't think $275 for the season is bad. I am going to take the $2,600 it costs for four season tickets and use it to buy a large plasma television and the NFL ticket and I'll still have enough to go on stub hub and buy tickets to go the games I want to attend in person.
