Big John
this is getting tough. Keeper league. Can keep two. Have: Addai-now will he get 20+ carries a game? Benson-ditto, plus is he going to hold up? Ronnie Brown-??? MaGahee-ditto again. Post this in the Fantasy Advice Forum.
Giants56
From NFL.com, Adam Schefter reports: Friday, March 9 Free agent RB Dominic Rhodes reached agreement Friday morning on a two-year, $7.5 million contract with the Oakland Raiders. I'm not a NY Giants fan but what exactly are they doing? Don't they need a RB? It's not like Rhodes was asking for much - 2 years 7.5 million? I have no problem passing on Rhodes. He was really mediocre last year and then had a really good postseason. I think they'll draft a back to pair with Jacobs.
BeeR
For the life of me I cannot understand why Rhodes chose to do this. Money. duh.

Bill Swerski
Its not like he got a whole lotta cash though... He got more than he's worth. Rhodes (and Indy's O-line) played exceptionally-well in the playoffs this past season... much better than usual. Rhodes' performances in the NE game and the SB greatly inflated his market value. While I'm happy to see Dominic get paid, the Raiders greatly over-paid for him. Edited March 9, 2007 by Bill Swerski

Then again, the market for RBs is drying up pretty quick...

That and the fact that his regular-season numbers were dismal. He's not the same guy who rushed for 1,000+ yds after Edge tore his ACL. whomper
See ya' Dom! Thanks for the memories! Nothing like saving your best game of the year for the Super Bowl! Colts have to grab another RB in the draft or thru free agency, IMO. But not at that price. Kinda feel bad for Dom behind that o-line . . . You're right. He did go out with a bang..He had a great superbowl
