Controller
Polish guy orders a pizza. He is asked "Do you want it cut in 6 slices, or 8 slices?" He says "Better make it 8 slices, I'm REALLY hungry today."

ebartender
Well I live in a polish neighborhood and I am 1/2 polish, but I have never been to Poland. I would tell you the food can be very good though. You'll be able to get some good kielbasa, pierogis, goblaki, etc.
The D
Great market, nice restauants, and the old town (actually quite new because of WWII) is great. A lot of stuff to do and a lot of nice looking women to talk with. Have fun. Edited May 2, 2007 by The D

Have fun. i know that much was destroyed in the war and then rebuilt in a way that preserved the older architecture. definitely the center of some very important and tragic history. Kid Cid
My MIL just got back from a trip from Poland but I don't think she can help much. She was a camp survivor and this was her first trip back since she was forcefully rooted up from her home when she was 9.
