isleseeya
Have a small ( approx 200 gallon ) pond in my back yard for past 4 years ...have 6 fish in there ( they lived nicely in their over the years ) ...just recently after a lot of heavy rain over weekend , pond water became brown ( almost brone like in color ) The pump , filter and uv sterilizer all seem to be working fine and I don't see any algae Anyone know if the heavy rains ( it rained more than I can remember this past saturday ) will have caused this and what can I do to get rid of the color ? nogohawk
Probably just stirred up all the good stuff on the bottom - debris, fish poop, etc. It should clear itself up in a day or two.

muck
The water that flowed into the "pond" carried dirt and other junk into it ... plus stirring up the bottom ... gets you cloudy water. It'll settle down. Either that, or Beelzeebub is about to emerge from your back yard.

Sugar Magnolia
How easy is it to do a partial water change with your system? You don't want to do more than a 30% change because you will be removing tto much of the "good bacteria". Make sure your water supply doesn't contain chloramine or you will have to use a neutralizer or it will kill the fish. I used to have a 5000 gallon koi pond-thank god I moved.
