sp3ctr3
Adrian Peterson has a huge game and C.Taylor has some sort of minor injury... Any idea on this injury? Any clue on how many touches per game he will have this season? He did not look bad before he was banged up...

Doc Holliday
I have Taylor in 3 leagues and he will be on my bench. I have Peterson in 1 league and he will be starting for me. That is how I feel about it.
SuperCharger
It will be RBBC unless one of them gets hurt. When all is said and done I think AP has the majority of the carries and puts together a pretty good rookie season. Maybe even OROY.
cory_n_az
Be shocked if AD isn't the OROY and Willis DROY. Willis is an absolute animal. Would be no surprise if he's a Pro Bowler in Year 1 Edited September 11, 2007 by cory_n_az
Bill Swerski
He sure as heck won't be worthless if "AD" gets bit by the injury bug again.

Would be no surprise if he's a Pro Bowler in Year 1 I think Calvin Johnson has a better chance to get OROY. If he has 1000 yards and ten 10 TDs, he will be a lock. A rookie WR rarely gets close to those numbers.

Outshined
Ever heard of Marques Colston? Larry Fitzgerald? I don't think either was ROY... My point is, if they finish with the same stats, I think CJ would get it because it is much easier for RB to achieve those stats. Fitz only had 780 yards and 8 tds...big difference than 1000 and 10. Hat Trick
Willis is an absolute animal. Would be no surprise if he's a Pro Bowler in Year 1 No doubt and Manny Lawson is a beast as well. 49ers sure upgraded that Defense
Savage Beatings
I still think Chester Taylor is one of a few must have handcuffs this season if you own Adrian Peterson. Taylor will get healthy before too long and then those two will go back to sharing the load once Taylor is back to form. They are not just going to automatically make Peterson the exclusive starter now... Taylor has shown too much talent for that to happen, and the coaches don't want to overwork 1 RB like they did last season. Plus remember, Peterson has that big upright running style that carries with it a lot more risk for injury.

Avernus
the funny thing here is.. I have SJax and Henry at RB....only start 2....but I am seriously tempted to start Peterson over one of them.. who would you.......umm I mean...I know who I am starting but it's unfortunate that he plays Detroit this week and is on my bench... this should be fun.. peepinmofo
AP being compared to Chris Brown and Brandon Jacobs is just funny to me. Talent wise, there is no comparison. However, Brown and Jacobs are/have been hurt, and both run upright, so yeah, there is a comparison there. AP has been hurt many times, and is it a coincidence? Time will tell... Easy n Dirty
I think sometimes that whole "upright running style" argument is overdone - they used to say it all the time about Eddie George, who was 6'3" tall to boot I think - and that due was a workhorse up until the end of his career when he got a little long in the tooth. LJ..Marcus Allen...etc...there are only a few who can run it correctly..
