H8tank
They couldn't compete with netflix perhaps, but people have been singing the doom of video stores for years, it ain't gonna happen. Now I doubt you go to a video store, in fact, I would be surprised if you ever even step foot outside your grandmas basement. How long has it been since you got any exercise? Put down the keyboard, get some sunshine.

H8tank
Blockbuster failed? Where? They have been one of the all time most profitable business, screwing the customer or not, their business model worked.
evil_gop_liars
Blockbuster failed? Where? Blockbuster stock price was $21.76 five years ago, it now sits at $4.81. This is a success? Blockbuster's revenue slid 5.7 percent and the company harbored a net loss of $35 million. Worse, it has closed 526 stores in the past year, keep up the good work. AtomicCEO
Blockbuster failed? Where? They have been one of the all time most profitable business, screwing the customer or not, their business model worked. It certainly did. That time is now passed. I stopped using Blockbuster when they decided to try to affect movie content with their market power. I will not shed a tear when the giant corporation dies because a smaller better one took their place.
H8tank
Uhm, do you know how long Blockbuster has been around and do you know how much money they've made? Do you have any idea what you're talking about or do you just scream after headlines?
H8tank
If I sold bacon for 20 years and made a few hundred billion dollars, then pigs went extinct, I don't think I'd care a whole lot.

Chavez
[timc]Fixed[/timc] Nah, the internet and specifically quick broadband downloads have probably completely demolished the porn rental market. Kid Cid
Nah, the internet and specifically quick broadband downloads have probably completely demolished the porn rental market. Any depravity you want in the complete privacy of your own home and known to only a few select government agencies and Internet hackers. Fixed. Chavez
Well, whatever - the FBI knowing you spank to "hawthairyteenz.com" is less embarrassing than running into your wife's gyno in the porn section of the video store.
