i_am_the_swammi
Not sure about all the other northeast games, but local weather is predicting a wintery mix of snow/sleet/rain for the AM hours tomorrow. While the precipitation is supposed to stop by noon, it should make for a slippery track at gametime. Jusst FYI for those owners who have starters playing in Philly, and perhaps other northeastern home games.

i_am_the_swammi
I've seen that but aren't game temps supposed to be in the mid 40's? yes, it will definitely be rain if its still precipitating by gametime. But again, the artificial turf will be wet...just pointing out that it won't be sunny and dry. If someone is deciding between Akers or a dome kicker, I'd opt for the dome-guy. The Linc has grass not turf.
Pitbull739
What do they have in Giant's Stadium? Can't be worse than the turf in Heinz Field.
Big John
What do they have in Giant's Stadium? Can't be worse than the turf in Heinz Field. Field Turf. They tried grass there, but it was worse than wgat is at Heinz Field.
gd74
Just outside of Philly......not raining here yet.....overcast about 40 degrees
i_am_the_swammi
The Linc has grass not turf. technially, yes, but its that artifically grown stuff that, when wet, gives way every time to put more than 51% of your weight to one side. Its worse than real grass that way, since a 100% natural turf develops a stronger root system. BTW, its raining, 41 degrees, and a 10-15 MPH wind here. i_am_the_swammi
Just outside of Philly......not raining here yet.....overcast about 40 degrees You must be south of the city...here in Montgomery County (north and west of the city) , its been raining all morning (actually a freezing rain early this AM, which has now changed over). Chief Dick
Dry in KC so far today. Looks like it might rain, though.
greg1024
I'm about 15 miles east of South Philly.....it's cloudy but no rain right now. Very light wind too. As far as the field goes, it shouldn't be any slicker than normal unless it starts raining hard. There's not much grass left on the field anyway. It's one of those fields that never looks too great, even in September, and Temple had a game on it yesterday, so it's probably a little chewed up.
