CaP'N GRuNGe
But Clinton will not concede the race to Obama if he wins a greater number of pledged delegates by the end of the primary season, and will count on the 796 elected officials and party bigwigs to put her over the top, if necessary, said Clinton's communications director, Howard Wolfson. "I want to be clear about the fact that neither campaign is in a position to win this nomination without the support of the votes of the superdelegates,'' Wolfson told reporters in a conference call. "We don't make distinctions between delegates chosen by million of voters in a primary and those chosen between tens of thousands in caucuses,'' Wolfson said. "And we don't make distinctions when it comes to elected officials'' who vote as superdelegates at the convention. "We are interested in acquiring delegates, period,'' he added. Jimmy Neutron
It'll be interesting to see what happens if Obama goes into the convention with a delgate lead and loses to Hillary. Will independents lean toward McCain in the GE if it is percieved Hillary won the dem nom through a back door (sorry Wiegie) deal?
MikesVikes
O'Reilly was talking about this last night. He said the party would never recover from something like that. Is she going to sleep with all of the super delegates (or promise not to)? How can she be sure to get those?

Savage Beatings
That's a far cry from the tune she was singing after W stole the 2000 Presidential election from Al Gore. Back then the Electoral College was pure evil because it went against the popular vote. Now the popular vote doesn't mean squat to her apparently. AtomicCEO
I have no doubt that she could justify it to herself. But I really hope that the candidate with the most public support gets the nomination.
The Irish Doggy
O'Reilly was talking about this last night. He said the party would never recover from something like that. That's just ridiculous. I mean honestly.
