Chavez
Abortion protest at premiere of a kids' film All hell broke loose at the Hollywood premiere of "Horton Hears a Who!" today when a group of pro-lifers infiltrated the screening, then chanted anti-abortion slogans after the flick. The theme of the movie is based on the motto: "After all, a person is a person, no matter how small." So the pro-lifers thought it was a good idea to use this theme to their advantage -- even though their complicated message was falling mostly on the ears of children. After the chanting ended, the group put red tape over their mouths that said "Life" on them, and paraded around the event.

Randall
the pro-lifers thought it was a good idea to use this theme to their advantage -- even though their complicated message was falling mostly on the ears of children. Just what Jesus would have wanted them to do. Why is these right wingers love children before they're born love them when they reach military age yet like vetoing health insurance in between because it may lead to national health insuraance. That makes no sense to me. Maybe sign them up for military service right there at the hospital. Edited March 10, 2008 by Randall

Perchoutofwater
My 1st grader did a Seussical on Dr. Seuss' birthday. Horton Hears a Who was part of it. It was cute listening to all the kids singing about little people. Edited March 10, 2008 by Perchoutofwater
Skilly
Jebus........think about that for a second. Those wackos actually spent time to PLAN and orchestrate that event. And purchase supplies (red tape, sharpie). And think up different chants to use. Who exactly came up with that idea.....and who was the moron who agreed that it was a good idea? There are so many levels to this stupidity it boggles the mind.
