I'm willing to believe that they could have a fabulous draft and/or some wonderful preseason trades/FA pickups that will alter the trajectory of the team. I do not think those things are likely to happen. Thus, I still expect that KC will have a poor record and be out of the playoff hunt early. That does not make me any less of a fan.
