Outshined
They deserve their own thread. Heres to a great season no matter who wins!
Ursa Majoris
My heart says Twins but my head says Sox. They gave the Twins a royal shellacking in a series there earlier this year and their power bats will be enough to overcome the Twins small ball tomorrow. Outshined
I don't know if Blackburn will be able to stop them. I think Slowey would be pitching if he didn't get hurt. The only other option is Perkins who pitched Saturday.
Gopher
Anybody know if tomorrow's game will be televised? Obviously, I'm sure it will be locally, but for us Twins fans on the West coast, will it be on ESPN or anything?

SeductiveNun
I think Outshined asked in the other thread who was starting for the Sox. What ESPN was reporting was Danks was the projected starter, but once the Sox beat up the government mule that is the Detroit bullpen, it chaged to TBD. I really hope Blackburn comes around tomorrow. Slowey was the guy they wanted to start until he took that line drive off his arm. Man, did Detroit's bullpen yak it up big time though. SheikYerbuti
I needed Swisher in my fantasy playoffs and Ozzie sat him almost the entire last 2 weeks of the season. For that alone I'm rooting for the Twins.
Outshined
Pregame notes: Cuddyer starting at DH for Twins against White SoxPosted on September 30th, 2008 – 4:01 PM By Joe Christensen CHICAGO — Michael Cuddyer gets a start at designated hitter tonight, with Jason Kubel available off the bench. Cuddyer is 7-for-12 (.583) for his career off tonight’s White Sox starter, lefthander John Danks, while Kubel is 3-for-7 (.429). (*) Manager Ron Gardenhire said he’ll be ready to go to the bullpen early to help rookie starter Nick Blackburn if need be. (*) It’s all hands on deck, though Gardenhire said he won’t use Francisco Liriano tonight because this is his first season coming back from major elbow surgery. Liriano pitched Friday and would be working on three day’s rest. (*) Gardenhire said Scott Baker would be available out of the bullpen. Normally, he would throw a side session today anyway. (*) Kevin Slowey (bruised right wrist) will play catch again today, and the Twins will see how he feels before clearing him for a bullpen session Wednesday. Twins (88-74) 1. Denard Span, RF 2.
