Seattle LawDawg
I'm from Jamestown (well, born in Jamestown and lived in a much smaller town about 30 miles away). Those numbers are nothing extraordinary for the area. ETA: Now that I live in Portland, all of the major highways either require chains or are closed today with less than an inch of snow on the ground. Markets are sold out of bottled water and canned food and I expect school closure information for tomorrow before too long. Seattle LawDawg
Me too, up a hill both ways in the snow. Barefoot. We always had trouble with the hills barefoot. Barbed wire wrapped around the feet seemed to give just enough traction. Obviously, I kid. We had no hills. Schools are closed around Portland today. Chain requirement on all highways and surface streets. Sand and salt must not be "green" enough for Portland. I so look forward to the morons: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0AO3xKWqOE
