rai
I have just won a champonship but had to sweat out a win after being up big but going aginst DeAngelo Williams last night. I would say DW has come out of nowhere his first 4 weeks (in my PPR league) he was about 7 points per game fairly weak RBBC type numbers. Little did I know, probably would have won my other league if I had kept him however that league I f-ed up drafting Brady and Nate Burlson both KOed in week one forced me to hit the waiver wire. SheikYerbuti
I accidentally drafted him when I disconnected from an online draft. I was furious when I re-connected and saw who I got. Between his and Ryan Grant's slow starts, I was in last place for the whole first half of the season. When Williams got rolling so did my team, but I missed the playoffs by a game or two. Too bad I didn't get the chance to ride him deep into the playoffs. Woulda been fun.
myhousekey
He was dropped in probably my biggest money league after week 3 (9/24). He sat on the wire until week 5 (10/2). It amazes me now but it happened. Needless to say the guy who picked him up will probably lose in the Superbowl this weekend while the guy who dropped him placed 9th. Grits and Shins
In my local league he was dropped about week 4 by the team that drafted him and picked up by the team that will win the SB in about week
Sunday Couch Potatoe
Dropped him week 4 and the guy I played in the superbowl fittingly was the one who picked him up and I lost because of it! Needless to say the championship and the extra $1000.00 difference between 1st and 2nd will haunt me for a long time!!

Randall
I drafted him and Stewart in one league, dropped him for Antonio Bryant after a bad game and regretted it.

Vet
In a dynasty league format, I drafted Williams in the first round as a rookie. I kept waiting for him to do something, but he never broke out. He was stuck behind DeShaun Foster of all people! My rule in my dynasty league is I give first round picks three years to pan out - then they're gone. (We have pretty deep rosters, so you can give a guy a couple of years to develop.) I was starting to question Williams, however, so this year I took Jonathan Stewart in the first round, with the idea that he'd replace Williams. I started Stewart, along with a hodge-podge of other RBs (anyone from Julius Jones to Edgerin James to Duece McAllister) the first 4 or 5 weeks. I didn't start playing Williams regularly until week 7 or 8. By the end of the year, I was starting both Williams and Stewart. They carried me to a fantasy league championship. Gotta say, though, at the beginning of the year DeAngelo was closer to the scrap heap than the starting line-up.
Grits and Shins
My son drafted both DW and Stewart in his league. He rarely played Stewart. But DeAngelo carried him to his championship.
Henry Muto
I drafted Stewart and Williams and tried to package them in a deal after week 4 or 5....lucky for me the other owner only wanted Stewart so I was forced to keep Williams...oh wait unlucky for me my team tanked because of his and Peyton's and Randy's slow start so when I was 2-6 and came on like gangbusters to win 5 out of my last 6 and finish 7-7 I still missed the playoffs. I would have done pretty well this week.
