SheikYerbuti
I commish leagues in baseball, football and basketball. I also play in leagues that are commissioned by other people. I've never used someone else's league to recruit players for my own leagues. Anyway, a team owner who I don't know joined my baseball league and immediately asked me if he could post on my league's message board to recruit owners for his own leagues. This strikes me as inappropriate. . .am I just being up tight? Or should I tell him no?
satelliteoflovegm
He asked...that says something. A little weird not knowing him. People always say, "it never hurts to ask" I wouldn't care but it might seem as if you are endorsing him, which you aren't. If he sucked or screwed people out of money, you could look bad. SheikYerbuti
It is nervy. I politely said I'd prefer if he didn't.
AtomicCEO
I've had a guy join my league and then not even ask and post about others joining his other league. Once we chatted and I mentioned that I didn't feel it was right to do that he understood and we've since moved on. In your case Sheik, even though it was ballsy to ask, he did at least ask and didn't take the liberty to post a message without attempting to clear it first. Didn't you try to start your own ff site in direct competition to The Huddle and use this forum to spam out PMs about it, you incredible toolbag? srlsyGTFO. TIA. westvirginia
Man, Irip, you really don't get it. You are giving your opinion, complete with example, on the appropriateness of something you have ZERO cred to give an opinion on. Again, irony. Or perhaps, irishorony. muck
Wouldn't you think that someone who'd slammed their shins on the furniture may have a decent idea as to where the furniture actually was?
