AtomicCEO
5.7 by me. The county a few miles away is 7.1. Colo and CT seem to be doing ok. I've never wanted to live in California or Michigan anyway.
Randall
Check out Macinac County, Michigan 24%! That's in the U.P. It's been tough over there for quite awhile. 7.6 where I am. +.3 Edited March 4, 2009 by Randall
Perchoutofwater
5.6 here, up 1.2. I only know two people who have lost their jobs, and one of them has already been hired on in a similar position as the one he lost. Also, the place I ate lunch yesterday had a help wanted sign up, and they really need some more help based on the quality of service. polksalet
5.9 here up .9. As always I know no one unemployed and everyone in my inner circle is making more than ever.
Azazello1313
I guess the most surprising thing there to me is how badly the left coast seems to be doing. not just cali, but also oregon and washington. worse than I would have thought for the whole area. For the most part, the places that tend to be liberal have higher unemployment than those that tend to be conservative.

Square
4.2% here. Our local economy hasn't been that slow. Hopefully it holds up.
