budlitebrad
Looks like Harrell may finally be done. Justin Harrell fears his NFL career is over. “Most definitely,” the Green Bay Packers’ injury-plagued defensive end said on Monday. “Anytime you have back surgery, it’s always a red flag, and then having two in one year. It’s one of those things, man — you’re trying to fight through it and trying to fight through it, and ... “Hey, I don’t want to think about that right now, because hopefully, that’s (not going to happen). But it’s definitely in my mind.” How it could not be? The bulging disc in Harrell’s lower back that required two surgeries and cost him 10 games last year flared up again about a week into training camp, and it hasn’t gotten much better since he first missed practice on Aug. 6. The Packers are sending out studies to specialists to try to come up with yet another game plan for healing their 2007 first-round draft pick. But even for a generally jovial guy like Harrell — who in May pronounced himself “cured” after an offseason visit to a Green Bay chiropractor — it’s difficult to be optimistic. “It’s probably been the worst week of my life,” Harrell said. “Of anything I’ve been through, all the injuries and things like that — this is definitely the toughest. You get up so high and you’re feeling good, and just like that, I’m back to where I was before.” -- Tom Pelissero, tpelisse@greenbaypressgazette.com http://twitter.com/tompelissero
Chavez
Oh well, you win some, you lose some. It would've been nice to have him add some DL depth this year.

For those who criticize TT That draft spot didn't create much except Beason, Bowe or Aaron Ross. I don't see TT taking one of them. Guess he should have trading down, but maybe he tried. He's said he's a BPA guy, so he SHOULD have been grabbing Beason, Bowe, or Ross. Of course, Wolf said he was a BPA guy as well and that didn't stop him from throwing the kitchen sink at DB in the '98 (?) draft.

Of course, Wolf said he was a BPA guy as well and that didn't stop him from throwing the kitchen sink at DB in the '98 (?) draft. He thought he did but Wolf was wrong half the time too. The difference as I see it has been Ron Wolf took a lot of chances with free agency too, Ted sticks mainly to the draft.
