gilthorp
Been out a couple of times and just sat on some blankets with my oldest daughter to catch a few of the Perseid Meteors in the sky. Check in out in the next few hours if you have a clear sky. Peak should be in about 90 minutes.

Egret
Now I'll head out. Thanks for the reminder.
wiegie
went out for about 25 minutes or so and saw a few good ones I'm looking forward to when my boys are older and I can watch it with them. It's not quite as much fun watching them on your own (although it was really relaxing (which is why I came inside... I was about to fall asleep)). gilthorp
Just went back out with Mimi and all she saw were bugs biting her legs. I caught one more and she got shut out.
TimC
Wait, people in Chicago go outside at night? And live? Whoa. Rained here.
wiegie
Just got in from outside. IMO, tonight was a lot better than last night. (It was also fun because my three year-old woke up and I took him outside to watch too. He ended up seeing about a dozen of them.)
