pseudolefty
Found this news interesting: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4622503 KC fans have created an on-line petition requesting Scott Pioli to deactivate LJ. They don't want LJ passing Priest Holmes as the all-time Chiefs rushing leader. He's only 75 yards short of the record.

Chief Dick
While I don't want him to break the record either, remember these are the same fans who cheered him wildly when things were going good. Can't have it both ways.
irish
While I don't want him to break the record either, remember these are the same fans who cheered him wildly when things were going good. Can't have it both ways. Sure you can. When things are going well, fans will cheer you to no end. And when things take a bad turn, they'll boo you to the high heavens. See Donovan McNabb. Fans are fickle.
Hat Trick
Fans are fickle. And Kansas City is FULL of them too!
irish
And Kansas City is FULL of them too! Exactly! Especially when the team isn't doing well and the player in question is performing poorly and on top of it is having off the field issues of any magnitude. Fans will be screaming through bullhorns for a replacement.

Can't have it both ways. That's exactly what fans are supposed to do...cheer like mad in the good times and boo like mad in the bad times!!! And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that either! Can't have it both ways. I hear you, Chief. All fans like to have their cake and eat it too. Not to get too far off topic, but a few years ago, all SD fans were singing the praises of LT afer his TD record shattering season and his many years of solid, consistent numbers. Now days, you hear people calling in talk radio shows saying we should have kept Michael Turner and let LT go. Yeah, right. Hindsight s 20/20, but there's no way the Chargers could have let a living legend go after all those seasons of productivity. The injuries and reduced nos. only started happening after Turner the Burner lleft.

bpwallace49
maybe the fans should start a petition for the Chiefs to get a real o-line . . . or WRs other than castoffs and scrubs . . . or not trade theor only good players (Allen/Gonzo) for a handful of magic beans . . .
