From what I heard he made some bad decisions and/or trusted the wrong peopel with his money, and was paying to consequences for those bad decisions. There was no injustice that I have heard about. I think maybe the daughter is delusional, or maybe it's just really hard for many people to believe that your own Father was a whackjob.
