darin3
except that he began the flop well before he was touched true but there was "intent", unlike the first flop which was complete and utter bee-ess.
detlef
I was referring to the 35 yard shot that he put off the crossbar.
wiegie
true but there was "intent", unlike the first flop which was complete and utter bee-ess. I like how in the half-time analysis Alexi Lalas called Ronaldo a baby at least twice.

alexgaddis
I feel bad for Ronaldo...every time he gets near someone he goes down...he must be afflicted with the same malady as Samuel Jacksons character in Unbreakable.. Ursa Majoris
Or USA 1-0 over England in 1950? Coin toss. Both were stunning upsets.
Dr. Sacrebleu
Is it because of that pesky beating you for the title in the last WC thing ? That only reinforced my dislike for the italians when it comes to soccer. They have always played a really boring rigorous (yet obviously very effective) soccer. Weird that a latin country makes the english and german soccer look 'sexy'. And though this generation might be getting away from it, that greasy long haired look with a little string as a hair band made me really want to barf. I have counted 7 shots on goal in the first 15/20 oh this half and can't get it to go.
SEC=UGA
This match should be: Spain 5 6, Switzerland 1. They just blew two three more opportunities. Edited June 16, 2010 by SEC=UGA

wiegie
Commie now come on, you know that Switzerland is one of the freest economies in the world My main problem with flying the Swiss flag is that my neighbors keep coming by thinking that we are conducting a blood drive.
