Clubfoothead Posted July 4, 2010 Share Posted July 4, 2010 Thanks for all the mojo everyone. He went in for surgery yesterday. Apparently, only the top part of his heart was working. Something about the natural pacemaker cells were basically looping & not sending the electrical current to the bottom part of the heart. So they had to go in a fix this. I'll post more when I get updated info. Wishing him the best of luck. Hopefully that is something an ablation can fix - they can do a heart cath. Pacemaker is also an option. Keep us updated. buddahj Posted November 29, 2010 Author Share Posted November 29, 2010 Just an update on my friend. He has to have another surgery Dec. 16th. This surgery is for atrial fib (the first surgery was for atrial flutter). He has been having problems almost daily with this even on medication so this is why they want him to have this done.
