FWmaker
We're going to see Keane tomorrow night. Aside from "hearing" of the band, I don't really know their music. Am I going to shoot myself? Rock out? Play w/ my Blackberry all night? What am I in for?

matt770
I played the crap out of their first album, not a bad song in the bunch. In fact I probably played it too much and now usually skip them when they come up. You won't rock out, but there is a really dreamy, feel-good vibe to their stuff that I would imagine you either love or hate. I don't partake anymore, but I'd wager a Keane show would lend itself really well to some herbological enhancement. And I can think of A LOT worse bands for a wife to pick. FWmaker
On my way out. Maybe I can steer the clan after the concert to Peter Luger's a few blocks away.

FWmaker
Never made it to Peter Luger's Clips from the show: Opened w/ Fran Healy of Travis (definitely enjoyable): (cool song) (Flowers are metaphor for children) (He is NOT a piano player - as he admits) 2nd Band was Ingrid Michaelson (couldn't keep my eyes off Babe next to me in audience - she left after this band ) She ended w/ this song Keane headlined - Wife & kids liked it, I would've had a better time if I knew the friggin' tunes/words.
