Slugs3511 Posted November 17, 2010 Share Posted November 17, 2010 He and Pierre Thomas, who I am not comparing as competitors, but as fantasy football players, as very similar in nature to Anthony Gonzalez last year....I kept him on IF and then in week 11 he did not get taken off PUP......that is why I picked up Vincent Jax.....atleast he is not hurt and will be playing for something... If you're healthy enough to play, you play. A player shouldn't have the right to decide he's shutting it down because he's a free agent next year. IMO, this is a bigger red flag on Rice as a free agent than if he came back and didn't perform like last year. On top of that he wasn't straight with the injury to begin with. FWIW, Rosenhaus spoke to the media today, and said they have no plans to sit out the season. He expects Rice to be ready for week 11...
