Oh well, it wasn't a big bet, worth the 20 bucks. At least the Jets chances at a WC are reasonably good now, but despite the win, I've no confidence. They beat a Steeler team missing some big parts. Every time I get my hopes up, they not only collapse, they do it in epic fashion. It's like shell shock. I didn't even enjoy the win because I felt so down. Even after this win, I still can't get excited. That last drive was so Hermanesque, it was playing not to lose all over again. I thought with Ryan this team would finish games, but they can't. Every week teams beat the defense over the middle. EVERY week. How many third and 15 to 25 to go chances did they give up a first down? 4? Something like that. It's not easy to avoid lapsing into same old Jet fan syndrome. You get on the Jet headed to a warm tropical beach and they run out of fuel. Crash and burn. Or next time a wing falls off.
