Pope Flick
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/...?iref=allsearch His history is making him incredibly relevant today: he was a NY AG going after white collar crime prior to his and the 2008 bank collapse. Note what he says at the minute mark, yes he should have kept it in his pants but I don't find it too farfetched that he got rolled because he was going after ML (cue Brent). His show has been pretty solid as of late, and he's certainly gunning after Democrats as much as anyone if you catch a few shows. And if you don't agree with prosecutions for these white collar criminals, get outta town. Many got sent away for the S&L crisis but no one has the balls to do it today. Good stuff, Eliot It's plain to see why you had a future at one point. Edited April 19, 2011 by Pope Flick
Savage Beatings
I personally can't stand Spitzer, but I am totally on board with this.
Pope Flick
He is 100% new York in his style but the debates he is having on his show at the moment are the most robust and informative I've seen in a while. yo mama
Meh. I don't have a problem with the guy. We're all sinners, but at least he was good at doing a job that sorely needs to be done.
westvirginia
Meh. I don't have a problem with the guy. We're all sinners, but at least he was good at doing a job that sorely needs to be done. He was just paying for it, and as any married man knows, we all pay for it. It's just a matter of how much for how long...

bushwacked
If corporations can't be taxed can Wall Street be prosecuted?
bpwallace49
If corporations can't be taxed can Wall Street be prosecuted? But in Citizens United, it was ruled that corporations have free speech rights just like individuals. So if corporations have the same rights as individuals, shouldnt they be subject to the same tax rates as individuals in a much higher bracket? [KeanuReeves] Whoa . . . [KeanuReeves} I think it works sort of like the bailout....the profits are for the corporations...the losses are for the public. Welcome to Amerika.
