Infomercials

I kinda like watching infomercials, I must admit. Lots of them are things you really do not need, but some are very intriguing. I just saw one that actually has something I need ... the Clean Step Mat.

Does anyone ever buy from TV infomercials? I guess P90x is the most popular, but every year there seems to be a super screwdriver, super knife, or magic bullet (I cant stand the actors in that one, especially the lady with the curlers inher hair and cig hanging out of her mouth), or pet comb, not to mention the snuggie craze. Your thoughts ...

I have never bought anything but I can't say that I haven't been tempted. The latest one to almost get me is the one where that Ronco guy is offering you like a zillion knives for dirt cheap. Although for a lot of the "extra" stuff you have to pay for "seperate shipping and handling". Who knows what that could add up to?

TruTV airs a show called World's Dumbest ..... - usually it is Criminals or Drivers, etc., basically video clips with some B and C list comedians doing voice over stuff. A guilty pleasure for mindless laughs I readily admit. Well, one episode was World's Smartest Inventions (pun obviously intended) and it was a collection of some spectacular infomercial items.

Well, one stood out that I just had to buy it. It was called the Staduim Pal, cause you know, you don't want to miss any part of the game if you have to pee. It is essentially a catheter condom attached to some tubing that leads to a collection bag that straps to your leg. I got it for a good friend of mine for his birthday. Each year we get each other some funny gifts... One year I jokingly got him a man thong with the Warriors logo on it as we have the misfortune of being Warriors fans... he wore it... for 18 holes of golf.

Anyway, I guess I now have to answer this question that yes, I have bought off of an infomercial, but so far have never bought for a serious use.

Everybody is looking for the next Billy Mays ... a freind of mine is on the p90x infomercial. "Matt" is the guy who is disgusted by his 'by the pool' pic when they zoom in on his side fat while he is crouched by the pool.

Aunt Hazel

that is her name. she grates on my nerves.

 There was a guy who brought that into the bar a few weeks ago. scooby was there. we got the girls to do the shake weight, but i did not film it. I will say that we gave that guy a ton of crap for swearing by the work out of the shake weight. You don't want to be "that guy".
