darin3
Some names that stand out: - Jeff Fuller (WR - MIA): Kind of a wasted talent at Texas A&M... showed lack of desire/concentration, but has the physical tools to be a stud. On a team bereft of serious WR talent, he could really jump out if he wants to. - GJ Kinne (QB - NYJ): One of those QB prospects that could really blow up if things go perfect. - Vontaze Burfict (LB - CIN): This guy has a mean streak. Hits instead of wrapping up. Kind of fits the Bengals of old but perhaps they think they can polish him up. - Case Keenum (QB - HOU): Obviously a system QB in a bad league, right? Well, TJ Yates really isn't anything special and who knows how long Schaub will stay upright/healthy. I'd watch to see if he makes the team and if so, could be interesting. - Christian Scott (S - TEN): Never lived up to the hype, but hey he got signed and could produce at the pro level if things fall into place right. - Coryell Judie (CB - DEN): Dude seemed like he was always hurt, but always played. Maybe now that he's in the NFL he can shake the injury bug. - Kellen Moore (QB - DET): Undersized and not that athletic, but so was/is Drew Brees. Just sayin'. - Chris Polk (RB - PHI): Nice to see someone was thinkin'. Bryce Brown also has some talent, we'll see if either emerges. Kind of surprised Cody Johnson and Blake Gideon from UT haven't been signed yet but I'd bet they will be at some point.
Scooby's Hubby
As far as the Cowboys ... I like Leary and they should move him to guard. A bad knee injury kept him from being drafted, but he is considered a 3rd round talent if healthy ... WR Cole Beasley, SMU CB Lionel Smith, Texas A&M ILB Aston Whiteside, Abilene Christian OT Taylor Dever, Notre Dame TE George Bryan, N.C. State CB Isaac Madison, Arkansas TE Andrew Szcrerba, Penn State RB Darrell Scott, South Florida RB Lance Dunbar, North Texas G/T Ronald Leary, Memphis
ajh2
I like the Leary signing too. 3RD grade. The knee according to reports is a degenerative condition which is why he was udrafted. However, I am sure that Dallas did it's homework on the situation and felt it was worth the risk to sign him. Solves the only need they did not draft. The NFL Network gets it. Cowboys got the only "A" in the division for the draft. Signing Leary solves the OL issue hopefully for the future. wcd480
Vikings Eric Lattimore, DE, Penn State I think he is actually the younger brother of Steve Lattimer, DE ESU The family had to change the spelling of their last name after Steve shamed them with that whole steroids and date rape fiasco he went through in his senior season.
