Trojanmojo
Heya Guys, Have you ever had an owner ghost your league midway through your draft? If so, how did you handle? We had an owner who’d been in our college league for a decade ghost. I believe he threw a tantrum because I would not swap out his autopicked 6th round pick with a new player during the 9th round. He has not paid his dues so no loss for him other than the 15 friends he left high and dry.
Shorttynaz
The easiest solution would be to have someone take over. It sucks all around, but if you can't find a fill-in (maybe pay half the entry fee) maybe recommend having the commissioner manage that team each week - even go as far as playing the waiver wire as well - but be careful not to walk too fine of a line with trades and such. Can't just leave a dead team out there if you have 15 other teams who paid to get in here. Some teams that face this dead team could get an easy win.
Big Dogs
If he ghosted, then tough @#$% on him IMO. There's no way he can expect to come back and have you change picks after the fact. I would throw him out of the league with zero option to return and would try and get someone else to take over the team (possibly at a discount entry fee if needed). If you can't find a replacement, maybe the team is managed by committee during the season. Make sure there's a starting line up, and only pick up players when required to make a starting line up
