purplemonster
I wouldn't pay more than that, but sounds like a reasonable deal. We need one more year of DJ to see where he stacks up
League_Champion
I think he's a stud but was shocked because Pittsburgh rarely pays WRs. It's a short term low risk deal, not bad for either party. He's a target machine, great for fantasy.

Speaking of Pitt WR, I never quite got a bead on Juju, why he was so good one year and then dropped off. How much was injuries or other issues. He could be a steal in KC if he can put it together again. Anybody with an opinion?
darin3
Yeah I was listening to NFL Radio last night on the way home from work and PIT has had a great track record of drafting WRs and usually don't pay them big bucks. They have Claypool (2nd rounder, jury still out) and Pickens (2nd rounder, probably 1st round talent but injuries derailed him in college). That said, I think this is a pretty decent value for Dionte. Word was that he wanted Metcalf money, which was just ludicrous considering his drop rate. Honestly I think I'd rather gamble on Claypool in the middle-late rounds than burn a higher pick on Dionte this season.

I'm not sure I'd draft anyone from that team. Hell, they may not pass for 2000 yards with those wankers back there.

I tend to agree, which is why I noted I'd rather take a gamble on a big play guy like Claypool, who could see a ton of 4th quarter heaves. Claypool's game favors Trubisky in that Trubisky can scramble and buy time for Claypool to beat smaller defenders downfield.
League_Champion
I wouldn't trust Chase Cesspool to catch a beach ball. That offense is definitely going to suck but that will in no way affect Diontae's PPR value. He's a target machine regardless of who's at QB. Big Ben couldn't throw it in the ocean last season and somehow Diontae still caught 107 balls.
