Kayteeohh33
It was rumored that the RBs would potentially exaggerate injuries to protest their disrespectful pay at the RB position. Are we starting to believe this rumor is true now? Ekeler, Barkley, Montgomery, Jones, Etienne, J. Williams, now Chubb (his may be an exception because I'm hearing it's pretty gruesome)Â Â It's only week 2. Just curious if this is an organized stunt. To be fair, I have not seen these injuries in real time, only going off of injury designations.

He was still trying to push it on the sideline and they took his helmet and walked him to the locker room. I think this is a pretty ridiculous theory/rumor. Edited September 19, 2023 by rajncajn 1

DMD
Seems like feigning injury would only weaken a players negotiation. They are not given long-term money for that exact reason.

I just found it funny that this is the rumor and all these injuries are happening within the first two weeks
