HalfSmoke83
Sort of a general question. I'm up by 3 points going into MNF and opponent has noone else to play. I have choice of Fields or Dobbs at QB...or pull them, play no QB since I'm up and not chance a fluke INT/Fumble/Sack/Injury in beginning of game and lose points...then lose week? sabercats5441
as long as you win and your QB did not play you can pull him out 🙂 I also do not think QB will be negative but if you want to be sure to win, you can take QB out if the other team do not have any more player to play tonight
Decisions
Where are you in standings and is points scored your tiebreaker for standings?

I'm in 1st and about 100-125 points above 2nd place. Points are used as tiebreakers.

Ultra conservative, sit him. Take your win and move on. No need to risk it. It’s MNf, chances of 3+ point stat corrections are highly unlikely. if it’s me, I’m still starting a QB. It’s not logical, I know, but I’ve never seen a QB finish with negative points. I’d start Dobbs for higher floor.
Montana is da Man
My leagues don't allow this, but I would play him. I get why you're being conservative though
Decisions
As Dobbs is currently sitting -2.1, hope you didn’t listen to me 😂😂👎
HalfSmoke83
I did not put Dobbs in...but did leave Fields lol If I put Dobbs in, I'd still be up by 0.5..down from 3.75 lolol Edited November 28, 2023 by HalfSmoke83

You lose potential tie breaking points for the season. What are the chances any decent QB (fields and dobbs qualifY!) pulling an actual negative ff game? Pretty damned low, I htink. Play em. DST or deep flex rb, ok. desperation 6th tier qb, I can see. A real QB? nah. Play.

Decisions
I hope not, started off +16.5 points with Dobbs at qb vs Addison. Was projected to win by 25…now down to a 13 point projected margin. Actually starting to sweat right now, Addison seems to be his favorite target and he nearly threw a 3rd pick

Decisions
See, told you. They never go negative 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I thought karma was going to show me otherwise there for a minute. That was wild. My league is -2.5 for interceptions…. Was negative until the 4th Q touchdown 😳😳
DaBears545523
as a commissioner in my league, this is considered bush league
lindros99
I did this with my defense earlier in the year. There is always the chance your QB gets stuffed early in a sack/fumble and is out for the game.
stevegrab
Without the TD Dobbs would have scored 0.8 points in my league (-4 on the turnovers plus 4.8 on yardage). I trailed by just less than a point at kickoff but was leading for much of the game until the TD. I couldn't see this kind of scenario playing out, an early turnover before much yardage and then exiting the game would be a more likely scenario. The thing I don't like about this kind of move is it is totally random and based on when games are played and who has people left in their line-up. Like somebody else said this kind of move is considered bush league by many.
