Big Score 1
Personally, I think Portis gets the rock about 30 to 35 times today and goes off. However many carries he gets, he should hit the Century mark and punch it in for at least 1 TD. Anything less and I'd be very surprised. What do you guys think? luke davenport
I hope so because I started him. *** Mark Royal scores in the Red Zone. Way to tackle SF.
BIG A
He is going to suck today at the goal line as usual. The redskins o-line is the worst in football. Portis may dash allot of playoff hopes today the way things are shaping up.
Ramjets
I should have started Chandler instead of Portis.
sdm8309
Hell, you would think that the skins would try a sweep or something with portis close to the goal line.
luke davenport
My only hope with him today is that it's still early and he will wear SF down at some point in the 2nd half.
Marauders11
Portis should see it a lot in the 2nd half- Ken Dorsey is GODAWFUL Edited December 19, 2004 by Marauders11
Big Score 1
Even if he does see it a lot in the 2nd half, as long as Gibbs keeps up with the predictable play calling of run on 1st & 2nd downs and continues calling the run plays to go right up the gut, he'll only get another 39 yards. You'd think by now, Gibbs would've figured out the best way to use Portis, but I guess not. His longest run so far is 7 yards and it was around to the right. Otherwise he's gettong one, two, three yards with Gibbs stubborn insistence to run it right into the middle behind that crappy line.

Big Score 1
Well I nailed the number of carries at 35. 110 yards is not really going off but he did bust the century mark like I figured. Add 3 catches for another 20 yards. The only thing missing was the TD and lay that on the O'Line. All in all, not a bad day at the office for Mr Portis. A TD sure would've been nice though. luke davenport
And if he wouldn't have dropped the rock. That's -2 for me. Good day for him NFL wise, fantasy he underachieved. But that's the game.
Big Score 1
And if he wouldn't have dropped the rock. 619340[/snapback] Yeah he's gotta wrap up the pill. Can't be letting them strip it like that. I don't care that he was sandwiched between two defenders, he's gotta hang on to it.
