I was trying to remain "tasteful" while also keeping it "football related" as per the terms of our bet. Let me know what you think.... I, a misguided fan of the Minnesota Viqueens, do solemnly swear that from this day forward I will pledge my undivided allegiance to the NFL's greatest franchise- The Philadelphia Eagles. I have come to the realization that Donovan McNabb, not Daunte Culpepper is the true class of the 1999 draft- Culpepper is nothing but a turnover prone, inflated stats, garbage time quarterback- while Donnie Mac is simply a winner. Randy Moss is a classless, heartless quitter who can't hold a candle to the excellence, dedication, and determination of Terrell Owens. The rest of the Viking players are not even worth mentioning. I am through wasting my energy rooting for a team that is too soft to play outdoors in the cold. For an owner who is too cheap to hire a real NFL coach, and for a group of players that are too self absorbed to ever win a championship. Lastly, I was very foolish to think that this bunch of pretenders that are the 2004-05 Minnesota Vikings had even a snowballs chance of beating the World Class Philadelphia Eagles. (as Reb said there is some truth in it...especially about the owner...not so much about Daunte though, he and Donovan are two peas in a pod!! And we didn't boo when the Vikings drafted Daunte!)
