  1. Something tells me you're going to win another big one
  2. @Henry Muto How about an update on your 2020 fantasy football season? Any big money wins?
  3. A lot of similarities between Antonio Brown and Kanye West.
  4. The NFL should go back to only having one year contracts. It would solve a lot of problems. Right now some players get paid a ton while producing little and others get paid little while producing a ton.
  5. Brees wanted to push his opinion. Exactly the same thing that LeBron did. You're trying to come up with a reason why it is okay for Brees but not LeBron but all you're doing is rationalizing. You've never been able to talk about the Saints objectively.
  6. My point was that what you wrote wasn't polished like his speech even though you wrote "See how easy that was? I guess I've been rehearsing that very response this whole time too." And it is far easier to write something polished than speak it.
  7. flag it anthem? You need to rehearse a bit more. His speech is polished. And well-written. He is a good speaker. He doesn't pause or collect his thoughts even once during it. 100% canned speech.
  8. Yep, he wanted to make sure everyone knows how patriotic he is. Listen to his response. It is clearly rehearsed.
  9. You're grasping at straws. There is zero difference. Brees knew he was on a national platform. He knew that question was going to be asked. In fact, it's pretty obvious that his response was practiced. He might have done the interview specifically because he wanted to make that response.
  10. Roger Goodell Insists Martin Luther King Jr. Would Have Wanted 17-Game Football Season In Front Of Full Stadiums
  11. DeAndre has an overall adp of 11. Anyone here willing to draft him that high?
  12. Week 13 byes hurt in public leagues where the postseason starts in Week 12 but in regular fantasy leagues I love having a player with a Week 13 bye because I will normally have built up nice depth by then. It's much more difficult to have built quality depth by Week 4 or Week 6.
  13. According to playerprofiler.com, he played 50.5% of slot snaps last year. When they had Adam Humphries in 2018, Godwin played 24.2% of slot snaps.
  14. Arians is not going to enforce his beliefs over Tom's. Tom will keep doing what he has been successful doing. Arians might add a little. Arians is a smart offensive mind. I'm curious if they'll add an elite slot receiver? Edelman could still come over. I'm excited if they keep all 3 tight ends. Will they do a 3 tight end/2 wide receiver formation with an empty backfield?
  15. I like that they are giving O'Brien complete control. Let him prove himself or not.
  16. It is a nice situation. Hopefully, he can stay healthy.
  17. Hollister also had injury issues with the Patriots which partially explains his lack of production in his 2nd year. So the Seahawks have 3 injury prone tight ends and they are probably hoping that 1 or 2 of them are healthy at any one time. There will be fantasy value at tight end but it's going to be hard to predict which one it will be. Seems like a situation that is best avoided in the fantasy draft but worth monitoring for free agent pickups.
  18. The Huddle used to have a large group of posters who had been here since the late 90's. There were at least 100 people who posted multiple times per day. The fantasy football content of their posts was good and many were also funny. In around 2012, some of them got banned. They were a close knit group so they all left and formed another message board. It's sad because this was a great message board. But they no longer post about fantasy football on that other message board. The last time anyone on that board posted about football was 2016. But their Tailgate Forum is still going. But even that isn't what it used to be. It's now mostly just posts by a racist, redneck guy who posts ridiculous white nationalist stuff and piss fights ensue. Here is a link to their forum: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/scramble/the-tailgate-f3/. The message board over at footballguys is the closest to what the Huddle Message Board used to be but it doesn't have the same quality of football knowledge or the humor. But at least it has activity.
  19. There are several teams that would be intriguing with Patriots being one of them. Since no team will be willing to pay him much, he'll likely be able to pick a team that is a contender and that will feature him in the receiving game. He has made a lot of money in his career so he isn't going to choose a bad situation just to get a little extra coin. And he must covet the opportunity to play on a team that has a chance to win the Super Bowl after playing for the hapless Redskins for his entire career. It's unlikely I'll invest a draft pick on him in redraft but I wouldn't kick him to the curb if I already owned him on my dynasty team. He was still playing at an elite level the last time he played.
  20. Yeah, I meant division winners, I fixed it
  21. I wouldn't mind expanded playoffs if they extended the playoffs by a week. So Week 1, 4 wildcards in each conference would play and the 4 division winners would have byes. Week 2, the 2 winning wildcards in each conference and the 2 bottom division winners would play and the 2 top division winners would have a second bye week.
