Scorcher
Last year on Father's Day, the day after my son got married, my brother, my neice and I went to the Football Hall of Fame. My brother and I ran around looking at our heroes from our own different eras (10 yr age difference). My niece listened politely and feigned interest and followed us religiously. She also managed to get Father's Day coffee cups for both of us. In October my brother died unexpectedly. I flew to his home, tried to comfort my niece and helped put things in order as best as I could. Eight months later in May we all had a family reunion at my sister's house. I was talking to my niece and I jokingly asked her how she liked the Football Hall of Fame. I expected her to say how boring it was for her, but instead she said, "I loved it! It was really great to see you and my Dad share something that you each loved so much." She gave me a whole new perspective on our visit. It took 8 mos. to realize how much that visit really meant to me.
Atlas
My dad took me there as a kid and last summer I took my 14yo. We made the drive out from Jersey on the HOF induction weekend to see Young and Marino. Saw the Hall. Watched the inductions. Even took in a Yankee game at the Jake. The drive sucked, but the experience was something we will both remember. PS: Also saw the R&R HOF. It sucked more than the drive. Disappointing. neilfish2
Yes, in 2001. I live in Louisiana, and have a cousin living up in Ohio. My dad and I loved it. It beat going to Amish County with my wife.....
borge007
Took my grandson there several years ago. We both loved it. He now plays FF!! He won't trade with me in a league we're in because he's afraid I might fleece him.
loaf
several times. It's sweet. The movie theater that rotates is awesome. You get an angle like you're coming out of the tunnel on game day...

nogohawk
Was there July 4, 2004 - the year Barry Sanders was inducted. Truly an awesome place to visit for anyone who is "nuts" about football - be it Fantasy or otherwise.
PatsFanCT
Took a road trip from Connecticut in '95 to see Kellen Winslow, Steve Largent, Lee Roy Selmon, Jim Finks and Henry Jordan inducted. Then watched the Jacksonville Jaguars and Carolina Panthers play their first ever football game. Pretty awesome place. I'm glad I got to go when the game was played the same day as the inductions. Otherwise we woulda' had to spring for a motel.
