Kansas State 2000
Jeremy Shockey said there is "no chance in hell" that his New York Giants will lose to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Giants' controversial tight end made his comments last week to ESPN — and Dallas coach Bill Parcells is using the remarks to give his players more incentive, telling them of Shockey's trash talk after the Cowboys' 38-10 victory over Tampa Bay on Thanksgiving Day, the New York Daily News reported. "We are not worried about anyone else," Shockey told ESPN after the Giants' 26-10 loss to the Jaguars. "No one's beat us. We only beat ourselves. And that is what we feel like in this locker room. No one is capable of hanging around when we play our game. People seen that when we played the Cowboys the first time. There is no way they have a chance in hell to beat us when we play our football. And that is the truth. No other team in this league." IDIOT!

Hat Trick
There is no way they have a chance in hell to beat us when we play our football. IDIOT! I like it....he believes in himself and his teammates...he's frustrated. I tend to agree with this part of the statement. I picked them to represent the NFC....I still think they are a good team.....like he said they have been messing up and costing themselves wins. I am sure there will be plenty to argue this and that's fine...this is IMO.
The Wolf
The guy is a moran. If he played as well as he ran his mouth we'd be calling him Antonio Gates. What a joke of a player...he's the TE answer to Mike Mamula and Brian Bosworth. By the way, the Cowboys win this one, easy.
CaP'N GRuNGe
What do you expect him to say? "Eli sucks, Tiki's a crybaby, and I'm not looking forward to the Cowboys kicking our asses."
Bill Swerski
There is no way they have a chance in hell to beat us when we play our football. Way to ignore the last part of that statement. That's not the same as proclaiming, "I guarantee a win!"

I believe in Swerski on this one. When I heard him say that in front of the cameras, I knew it would be edited by Cowboys fans all over the nation for the purposes of creating this exact situation. Hugh 0ne
Way to ignore the last part of that statement. That's not the same as proclaiming, "I guarantee a win!" Yep. Now let's not look past the fact that Shockey is a major asstard, but let's also not misinterpret his statements. While perhaps showing a little too much confidence in his reeling and battered team, he's just implying that when they play their game, which they don't always do, they can't be beat. While I don't agree with him, he's just stating his opinion, and being positive about his team. Nothing to see here.

Saying a team can not beat us unless we are not playing our best is an excuse for when the team gets beat. "They did not beat us we beat ourselves." IDIOT! From what I have seen over the last 3 weeks, there is no way in hell the Cowboys can be beat when they play "their" football. Both teams on their best game, I'm taking the Cowboys. Hugh 0ne
Gee, all the Cowboys fans think that Shockey's being a jackass, and all the fans of neither the Giants or Cowboys aren't offended. You do the math.

Oh come on....This guy is one of the hardest playing football players around. Its not his fault that his QB forgets about him in the first half or over throws him the other half of the game. What do you want him to say....."Yeah, We'll prolly lose this Sunday"

johnnyfb
What do you expect him to say? "Eli sucks, Tiki's a crybaby, and I'm not looking forward to the Cowboys kicking our asses." This is so true. I hate it when fans get all excited about trash talk. Besides, what do you expect from someone out of "THE U?" I will say, it is hard to see the Football Giants not playing at 120% to get over their embarassment last week.
